The Fog Horn

  • 2 Parts French Brandy
  • 1 Part French Vermouth
  • 2 Dashes of Grenadine

Combine over ice, stir and serve. A Henry Thomas original.

A fog horn condition of the larynx was supposed to be produced by drinking this concoction. This drink was not only popular during prohibition but was revived in the 1980s by bartender Jack Blush at the Man in the Green Hat restaurant. With a dash of lemon juice the Fog Horn became another drink, the General Green.
